I am Shauna, a trained pastry chef who loves to cook seasonal and nourishing food for my family and friends. This blog came about as a way to explore my interest in adapting Β recipes from my beloved Baking with Julia cookbook by Dorie Greenspan, into a gluten free delights. After a lifetime of food sensitivities, I have found that I feel much better when I eat a diet free of wheat. I also have clients, friends and family that eat a gluten-free diet and we all want to enjoy gluten-free rich pastries. Over time, I found that I was more interested in developing recipes that were healthy and nutritious. I still love to make puff pastry, but my heart now belongs to whole grains and nuts.
