Yes, you did read that right, three ingredients and you will have the most decadent sauce for your ice cream! Check out my last post and try your hand at my “easy breezy” ice cream which is the perfect frozen treat on which to drizzle this sauce. Add chopped peanuts or peanut butter cups, top with whipped cream and you have quite a sundae!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)
1 14-oz. can of condensed milk (or coconut condensed milk you want to make it dairy free)
pinch of sea salt
Method of Preparation:
In a microwave safe bowl, combine all the ingredients and stir well. Microwave on half power for 1 minute and stir. If the sauce is still lumpy and the chocolate is not melted, microwave the sauce again for 30 secs. Continue in this manner until the sauce is smooth. Serve warm over ice cream. This sauce may be refrigerated for two weeks. You can heat it up in the microwave, adding 1 tbs. of hot water to thin the sauce if needed. This sauce also makes a great Father’s Day gift.
